Landscaping

Landscaping made simple

At Queenstown Garden Company, we specialise in Soft Landscaping—everything from planting trees and shrubs to creating garden beds, mulching, laying gravel paths, installing basic irrigation, and building raised vegetable gardens and borders.

While Hard Landscaping involves larger structural elements like patios, fences, retaining walls, and concrete or earthworks, we work with trusted contractors to manage the entire process—from pricing to completion. This means you deal with just one point of contact while we ensure high-quality results and fair pricing.

We can work from your existing landscape plan or help you develop a custom concept tailored to your needs.

If you're working within a budget, we can break your project into manageable stages—such as ‘Front Bank’, ‘Hedge Line’, or ‘Orchard & Veg Garden’—so you can see real progress without overspending.

Planting Queenstown

Planting and Plant Supplies

We understand gardens are very personal and sometimes you might want to design it yourself – we love that! In that case, if you have the plants we can do the planting to take the hard work off your shoulders.

If you need plants (or don’t know where to start!), because we have been working with nurseries for many years and can
– suggest the best plants for your site,
– provide you with you what plants are actually available,
– what sizes are available
– and the best prices available!

Garden Design

We’ve designed countless gardens in Queenstown and surrounds and can provide you with a concept plan (pen and ink) so that you can get a scope of what we are trying to achieve with your unique garden. This approach is often preferred as it is quick, low cost and easily adaptable.

If you require more detailed plans for consent purposes etc. then let us know and we can point you in the right direction to trusted landscape designers.

Lawn Installation

From ground preparation to installation we cover it all. Ready lawn is our preferred instant method, but there are seeding methods available including hand seeding or hydro-seeding depending on your property.
